How does data recovery work?
Each data recovery starts with a risk-free professional diagnostic, which is performed inside of our secure audited Class 10 ISO 4 cleanroom labs. Upon completion of the evaluation process, our staff will provide a comprehensive diagnostic report and a no-obligation quote for successful data recovery. You are not obligated to proceed and can either choose to move forward or have the media returned in the same condition. If the process is approved, our engineers will proceed with the recommended steps to restore the data in the most secure and reliable manner possible. After the work is done, we will provide you with a file list of fully recoverable data. Our process is absolutely risk-free to you. You only pay for the recovery upon successful completion and your full approval, this is our No Data, No Recovery Fee policy.
How much does data recovery cost?
Data recovery pricing is based on the condition of the storage media and the scope of work required to safely and reliably restore the data. An exact price is provided once the media is diagnosed professionally. There are no hidden fees or surprises. Our data recovery quotes are provided with no obligation and are payable only upon successful recovery of your files.
How long does data recovery take?
Turnaround times depend on level of difficulty associated with your data recovery and the ordering of parts.

Is it true that putting my drive in the freezer can fix it?
The chances are extremely slim that your drive will start working this way. In fact it could very likely cause more damage due to condensation formed inside the drive that makes it harder if not impossible for a professional to get your data back. If you’re not willing to pay for a recovery service or it’s not that important to you we say “give it a shot” after vacuum sealing your drive, but realize that you may never see your data again.
My drive has sensitive information on it. Will my data recovery be safe and confidential?
Yes, your data will be kept safely locked inside our secure lab. We can also provide a contract of confidentiality agreement or a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), when requested. Devices with Legal and private information sent to us will be securely locked in our safe. Once our service is complete we can perform a free and permanent destruction of your old device when requested.
